Some terms get mixed here.

The "info fields" from the old "user defined" page are not with us
anymore and instead of this we now get the "custom properties". ODF
stores them as "meta:user-defined" and so did OOo with the former "info
fields".

"Info fields" always have been stored as "meta:user-defined meta" in ODF
anyway (in fact ODF does not know "info fields" at all). And some
unbelievable magic tried to map the right ones back to info fields on
loading.

I never stressed this magic enough to find out how flawed it is. :-)
At least as there was no UI to add other meta:user-defined than those
magic 4, we didn't see problems here. But I expect that if more
meta:user-defined had been added manually, OOo would confuse the "info
fields" a bit.

So no migration necessary.

Ciao,
Mathias

I use it for the OOo lists and only rarely read other mails sent to it.
