From my point of view a discussion about "inconsistency" in the user interface makes always sense. Therefore please go on and try to start a discussion on the user experience discussion list.
Well, it makes more sense - especially irw my agenda - if there is a reasonable change that code developers are interested in the discussion or even better: in the result :-D That's why I ask it here ;-)
