When customizing the key board, one can choose for styles.
When customizing a tool bar, one can't.
Are there serious technical barriers to add those? If not, I'll climb
in IssueTracker.
From my point of view there are no serious technical problems to add
something like that.
So I ate the pudding, and it was rather tasty :-D
I customized a keyboard shortcut and a toolbar.
Copied some content from Accelerators.xcu to textobjectbar.xml.
That now has a line:
<toolbar:toolbaritem xlink:href=".uno:StyleApply?Style:string=First
Page&FamilyName:string=PageStyles" toolbar:text="My Style" />
This shows a 'button' with the text My Style and it works.
I only fail to find how I can indicate a icon.
I see what happens to the sc_imagelist.xml when I link an icon to a tool
bar, but don't know how link it to my entry in the textobjectbar.xml
( NOTE working in Writer it is *sc*_imagelist.xml)
Any idea on this?
Only the customize tool bar dialog must be extended
to provide access to the styles.
Not the main dialog, actually, but the Add Commands dialog:
The Category list should include the item Style, as does the Category
list on the Keyboard tab of the Customize dialog.
I've also submitted issue: 102953 and took the freedom to assign it to
cd. But feel free to ask someone else ;-)
Thanks a lot for your inspiration, Casten :-)
Regards,
Cor
