Nan, this I cross-post to [email protected].

Guys, we have a new committer, Nan Lei, who is the author of the
Chinese translation of the FreeMarker Manual, and was invited to
continue maintaining the translation as part of the project, and has
signed an ICLA and was voted in by the PPMC.

As now there will be no legal obstacles, we will be able to put the
Chinese translation online on freemarker.org, just as the US English
one. I hope Evangelia will be able to help with that (Google Custom
Search and such).

Nan, the repos and branches are listed here:
http://freemarker.incubator.apache.org/sourcecode.html

You should clone "freemarker"'s "2.3-gae" branch. It should let you
push with the user name and password given to you. Though you have
signed and ICLA, I would like to restate that anything that you push
into the repository is donated to the ASF, and shouldn't be done as
part of your played work (otherwise the ICLA won't be enough).

I have added "src/manual/zh_CN", where you can get started. You can
use these to test if the Manual is generated successfully:

  ant manualOffline_zh_CN
  ant manualFreemarkerOrg_zh_CN

If you want to change something other than the Chinese Manual, you
should do that in a feature branch, and not merge it into the released
branch without discussing it on [email protected].

BTW, as a comitter, please subscribe to the dev list:
