I have noticed that the FreeMarker website copyright notice in the footer says:
© 1999–2017 The Apache Software Foundation. All rights reserved. I propose to add to it the trademark attribution notice as prescribed here [*]; the complete footer would be: © 1999–2017 The Apache Software Foundation. All rights reserved. Apache FreeMarker, FreeMarker, Apache Incubator, Apache, the Apache FreeMarker logo are trademarks of The Apache Software Foundation. What do you think?
