I agree, and am disappointed it may make it slightly harder for
contributors to get involved. They'll have to email instead of use the self
service issue tracking services. The lockdown is supposed to be temporary
until there is a long term solution in place to combat the JIRA SPAM. I
will keep you apprised of developments in that area and when there is
something we'll get it in place here as soon as possible.
