    GEODE-2766: Only apply patches on Solaris

    - This avoids trying to apply patches on Windows which can break if the 
source
      wasn't actually checked out by a Windows git.

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/jdeppe-pivotal/geode-native feature/GEODE-2766

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

    https://github.com/apache/geode-native/pull/89.patch
