now that we've got our Confluence wiki setup
I've done a semi-automated migration of GH
wiki content:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/GEODE/Geode+Home
Everything looks pretty good (if I do say so myself ;-))
expect a few things where I need volunteers to help out:
* all of the images are being served from the Github
project-geode wiki. We need to migrate them to ASF
Confluence as attachments since the GH repo is going
away pretty soon. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't
find an automated way to do so. Manual labor seems to
be the only option.
* in a few places the links still point back to the project-geode
GH repo wiki pages -- those need to be updated to point
within the ASF confluence pages.
If you're interested in helping out please make sure to
register an account on ASF Confluence and send me
your ID -- I'll give you the karma to edit.

P.S. Just in case (and in preaparation for project-geode Github
project removal) I've also pushed the GH wiki content into
gh-wiki branch in our ASF Git tree. This is mainly for archival
purposes.
