Hi All, I have done some research in Seastar framework and ScyllaDB last year, ScyllaDB is a C++ version of Cassandra, on the core processing, ScyllaDB uses Seastar as a cross Cpu communication tool, that provides lock-less IO Mechanism.
That time, I want to migrate geode network communication layer to Seastar DPDK, add TCP-IP bypassing ability into geode, but there are some incompatible problems, in the whole kernel Architecture , network communication mechanism,... But I am very interested in integration geode with Seastar, from improving performance respect. theseus yang -- View this message in context: http://apache-geode-incubating-developers-forum.70738.x6.nabble.com/Geode-on-OSv-Seastar-tp2201p6517.html Sent from the Apache Geode (Incubating) Developers Forum mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
