Hey Jonathon,

please do open up a github issue for your suggestion. I've created labels for 
bug and enhancement, but I've heard stories that normal github users cannot set 
the labels. If so, I'll update your issue with the enhancement label.

Having a pull request with code would be best of course.

I'll update the information on the GeoExt site, sorry for that.
