Hi all.

After the GeoExt BOF in Nottingham, where we decided to release v. 2.0 of GeoExt as soon as possible, our repository has seen some commits, so that I am sure that we are able to deliver a fully tested and well working GeoExt around 2013-10-11.

As I see some things need to happen before we can release 2.0:

 * ? All examples should use OpenLayers 2.13.1
 * ? All examples should use ExtJS 4.2.1
 * ? All tests should be based upon OL 2.13.1 and Ext 4.2.1
 * (?) All tests should pass in
     o Chrome (28 or later, ? once we merge #185)
     o Firefox (24 or later, ? once we merge #185 and one failing test
       is adressed in #187)
     o Internet Explorer (8 & 9, ? once we merge #185 and one failing
       test is adressed in #187)
     o Internet Explorer (10, ? once we merge #185)
 * ? Milestone for 2.0 (
   https://github.com/geoext/geoext2/issues?milestone=1&page=1&state=open),
   should not contain any more bugs
 * ? documentation needs to be read-through.

I invite you all to have a look at the open issues in the above Milestone, for certain tickets I need a review, and for others I am a bit clueless and could need some input from you.

I will take care of the documentation now, and might even open up some more tickets for the 2.0-milestone.

We really are at the very last meters towards 2.0. I thank everyone that has brought us so far, but now I need your help once again.

Thanks in advance,

Marc
