Sorry for the late response. I was out of office last week.
Up to now the builds are triggered by scm changes. CruiseControl checks every night if there are any changes. If so a new build is triggered and notification mails are sent (success and failures).
As Dain suggested i will modify the config only to sent mails in case of a failure (and to use subversion).

I find both the message and dain's request ambiguous.
As I understand it these builds/emails are triggered by scm changes. I think this is very good. I suggest simply removing the phrase "The build results are only sent in case of build failures".
I would prefer to only get the email in the case of a failure... The signal (of failures) just gets lost in the noise (of success).
