Do we really want to comment out the test for alpha software?  I can 
look at the changes between 5.5.7 and 5.5.8 and see the differences.

Well, I think so. Noone reported any troubles since 5.5.7 upgrade. I'm 
on IRC right now and have been chatting with Alan.

I'm going to take a look at it later today, but am uncertain if the 
outcome may be better than commenting out the test that fails :(

Testing it out once again with Tomcat 5.5.7 to see how it'll behave.
