I have raised Maven JIRA issue http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MAVEN-1634
for the problem I ran into attempting to build geronimo with Maven 1.1
beta 1 where I get a
MavenException: Unknown error reading project
due to the following parser exception in the file
geronimo\modules\assembly\project.xml:
org.codehaus.plexus.util.xml.pull.XmlPullParserException: expected
START_TAG or END_TAG not TEXT (position: TEXT seen ...
`\r\n <p... @822:15)
