David Jencks closed GERONIMO-835:

Fix Version: 1.0-M5
(was: 1.0)
Resolution: Invalid

This would defeat the main purpose of clean-repo, which is to make it so your
build cannot depend on any geronimo/openejb/whatever artifacts that it did not
generate. Unless you are trying to verify that you can do a really clean
build, and that the build actually generates all the geronimo/openejb artifacts
that it uses, there is no reason to clean your repo.

> It would be nice if the clean-repo task only cleaned out the artifacts with
> the current Geronimo/OpenEJB version number in the name, instead of deleting
> the entire Geronimo/OpenEJB directories. The specs dir would be a little
> more annoying since some of the version differ, but hey. This would allow
> you to do a clean-repo or rebuild-all for, say, the current milestone branch
> or HEAD without whacking all the files for both.
