Kresten Krab Thorup updated GERONIMO-1233:
------------------------------------------

    Attachment: gcorba-nov-29-2005.patch.gz

There were a some files that I forgot to svn add; which I pressume is why you
did not commit yesterday's patch. This patch (gcorba-nov-29-2005.patch.gz)
replaces the one I sent yesterday; and is against the current head (revision
349688).

Alan, the idlj plugin needs to add -fall to the idlj command line; otherwise it
will not generate the server-side xxPOA files needed to compile/run the tests.
If Anders did not already send you a patch for this, then you are most welcome
to add this to the plugin. Perhaps this should be made an option somehow?

Also, we are having some problems that the compiler:compile target does not
work in this setup. If the project is compiled in eclipse into target/classes,
then the maven build works just fine. But compiler:compile reports "all files
up to date" even if I remove the entire target/ directory.

> This is the (hopefully) last bulk patch for the ORB.
> This includes the following elements:
> - JUnit tests for "hello world" functionality (client stream-based
> invocations)
> - code to make the JUnit test work.
> As such, this is a platform where we can now start doing work in smaller
> chunks. Up til now "nothing worked" so it was rather difficult to submit
> individual patches tied to individual Jira issues.
> The patch needs the idlj plugin in a version that is not yet in maven
> repository
