http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-1318
If a commiter could please inspect and apply that patch and then regen the website it will allow Joe to adjust the links in the welcome portlet and welcome application via JIRA 1300
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-1300
The redirect mapping is as follows. I did not create redirects for web pages that are already hosted under geronimo.apache.org (e.g. downloads).
Geronimo Wiki
http://geronimo.apache.org/redirects/wiki.html
redirects to ==> http://wiki.apache.org/geronimo
Confluence documentation
http://geronimo.apache.org/redirects/additionalDocumentation.html
redirects to ==> http://opensource2.atlassian.com/confluence/oss/display/GERONIMO/Home
Samples in Confluence
http://geronimo.apache.org/redirects/additionalSamples.html
redirects to ==> http://opensource2.atlassian.com/confluence/oss/display/GERONIMO/Samples+for+Apache+Geronimo
Developer mailing list archive
http://geronimo.apache.org/redirects/developerMailingList.html
redirects to ==> http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/geronimo-dev/
User mailing list archive
http://geronimo.apache.org/redirects/userMailingList.html
redirects to ==> http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/geronimo-user/
JIRA
http://geronimo.apache.org/redirects/issues.html
redirects to ==> http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/secure/BrowseProject.jspa?id=10220
Best wishes,

Dain,
Sounds like a good idea. Will you be creating these URLs with the
redirects (I assume only a committer can do this)? If you let me know
when they are complete I'll update the web console welcome and welcome
page to reference these instead. We would need these links (just one or
two additions to your list Dain):
http://geronimo.apache.org/issues ==> jira (problem tracking)
http://geronimo.apache.org/wiki ==> our current wiki
http://geronimo.apache.org/download ==> our download page
http://geronimo.apache.org/IRC ==> IRC - do we need a redirect for this?
http://geronimo.apache.org/moreSamples ==> Additional Samples (on
confluence)
http://geronimo.apache.org/confluence ==> Confluence ***
*** Based on the earlier responses I assume that we want to keep the
confluence link on the welcome pages. Would this not be needed with the
PDF that is also being discussed or do we also want the live link as well?
There are a few others but they are already hosted in geronimo.apache
such as Documentation, FAQs, dev & user mail archives.
