Also it seems we should review the remote repos in the etc\project.properties file when testing/packaging release, as we have a people.apache.org address in there.

I am trying to build geronimo from the source zip to reproduce a build
problem (using maven 1.1-beta-2) with an empty local repo and I have
found that the build fails for the dependency openejb-core-2.0.jar .
It isn't at http://dist.codehaus.org/openejb/jars/ or
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/openejb/jars/
