Duh -- I've had a G5 for ages. I still use a ThinkPad as a laptop, but I've pretty much switched from Linux to Mac on the desktop. Unfortunately, both the initial ThinkPad T60 and the initial MacBook Pro have their little drawbacks... I'm hoping February will bring some developments... :)
