We either:
1) leave it broken
2) remove the integration alltogether
3) apply a minimal fix (I did this but it was backed out)
4) go the whole hog - currently under discussion on dev list
(4) is not going to happen for 1.0.1
I've discussed this with David Jencks - we decided to go for (4) in 1.1 - but
no solution, as yet, has been decided for 1.0.1
