Seth White commented on GERONIMO-1553: -------------------------------------- :) I'll look into adding the specification code and not worry about the license. There is a subtle problem with fixed delay timers right now. Because timers execute asynchronously, the underlying timer events should behave more like a fixed rate timer than a fixed delay timer. Sorry, since I was aware of this problem, I didn't look closely at the code you mentioned, just assumed you were referring to that. > Provide commonj Timer and Work Manager. > --------------------------------------- > > Key: GERONIMO-1553 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-1553 > Project: Geronimo > Type: New Feature > Components: general > Versions: Wish List > Environment: na > Reporter: Seth White > Attachments: commonj.jar > > It would be nice if Geronimo provided an implementation of the Timer and Work > Manager APIs specified by commonj. > More information on these features can be found here: > http://dev2dev.bea.com/wlplatform/commonj/twm.html -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
