I just tried building the full specs project on the GBuild machine
(stan). I'm seeing a similar infinite loop. I see stan is using
maven 2.0. I'm on 2.0.2. So, hopefully that's the cause... I'll
need to wait for someone with appropriate karma to upgrade the m2
version on the gbuild machines...

I didn't really want to add the base specs project to GBuild,
because then we'll start publishing newly built, non-snapshot jars.
I'm really starting to wonder if our current specs versioning
scheme is wrong. We now have a mix of 1.0, 1.0-SNAPSHOT, and 1.1-
SNAPSHOT jars being built by specs.
I'm pretty confident that we can get all of the SNAPSHOT jars added
to GBuild and these build dependency problems will be cleared up.
However, when we release the 1.1 version of specs (which will line
up with Geronimo 1.1, I guess), I think the 'publish' process is
going to want to publish newly built (but hopefully unchanged) 1.0
jars that were previously published as part of the 1.0 release of
specs. I think we should avoid this, if possible
Finally, I'll point out that the geronimo-spec-j2ee jar contains
more than just the 'j2ee' specs. It's really a "geronimo-spec" jar...
