Manu,We are currently using the 1.4-SNAPSHOT of Axis. You can get the source code from the Axis SVN repository. Let me know if you are having difficulty.
If you are interested in the version we used in Geronimo 1.0 we had to take our own snapshot. David Blevins could probably point you right to that one.
