Sure. My personal preference is using "_version", but whatever the
consensus is with others I'm fine with.

Hi Sachin,
Could we decide on the format of M2 variables? In Geronimo we use
geronimoVersion rather than geronimo_version, commonsLoggingVersion
rather than commons_logging_version and staxApiVersion rather than
stax-api_version. Although the proposed solution might not be
appropriate for all cases, it tends to be consistent. A mixture of the
underscores, the dashes and camelCase parts in these variables might
be very confusing in the foreseeable future.
