Ok...setting the JAVA_HOME used to work on MacOSX, but after this update
that changed.

Dain and David Blevins were kind enough to find that setting the
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/CurrentJDK sym link
to the appropriate JVM fixed the problems.

So this works.
