Prasad Kashyap commented on GERONIMO-2157: ------------------------------------------ Yes. I checked out just the activation module and built it successfuly. I had ofcourse the modules-parent and geronimo-parent in my local repo. We definitely need to have this in some repo (local or remote) for this standalone module build to work. Anita, the <version> element under <parent> cannot be removed. It is a required element. If you meant the <version> for that current project, then I have already removed it. The patch takes care of that. > Build trunk from top down with one command > ------------------------------------------ > > Key: GERONIMO-2157 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-2157 > Project: Geronimo > Type: Sub-task > Security: public(Regular issues) > Components: buildsystem > Versions: 1.2 > Reporter: Prasad Kashyap > Assignee: Jason Dillon > Fix For: 1.2 > Attachments: relativePath.patch > > example pom excerpt > <project> > <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion> > <parent> > <groupId>org.apache.geronimo.modules</groupId> > <artifactId>modules-parent</artifactId> > <version>1.2-SNAPSHOT</version> > <relativePath>../pom.xml</relativePath> > </parent> > <artifactId>geronimo-activation</artifactId> > <name>Geronimo :: Activation</name> > <description>Geronimo Activation implements Content Handlers for use in > conjuction with the Java Activation Framework.</description> -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
