Deployment errors all on one line

Whenever there is a deployment error, the stacktrace of the error is displayed
all on one line. I don't know why that would be, perhaps it is being formatted
with UNIX end of line characters instead of DOS \r\n? Anyway, it would be nice
if this error message were displayed properly. Perhaps the Message property of
the exception, and any inner exceptions could be displayed, followed by the
stacktrace?
