Hi folks,
I wanted to give heads up on the JPA provider work that we doing in
Cayenne [1], and hopefully attract more volunteers ;-)
We are developing the JPA bridge to the existing persistence
mechanism, augmenting the later where needed. We got pretty far down
this road, bridging the mapping formats and loading annotations [2].
Till now we've been in touch with a few Geronimo committers via
OpenEJB and Cayenne mailing lists, but the wider G. community may not
be aware of this ongoing effort, and we would very much like to build
more synergy with the G. community.
If there is interest in participating in this in any form, let's
discuss the specifics either on cayenne-dev list or here.
