Too hard to install JARs into the repository
--------------------------------------------
Key: GERONIMO-2282
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-2282
Project: Geronimo
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Affects Versions: 1.1
Reporter: Aaron Mulder
Fix For: 1.1.x
It's asking too much of a user to create a proper Maven 2 directory structure
in the repository and copy a JAR in there with precisely the right name. There
should be an easy command-line tool to install a JAR into the Geronimo
repository. As in, you point it at the JAR you want to install, and it prompts
you for the group, artifact, version, and type, installs the JAR into the
repository, and then tells you how to use it from an application.
