CAR plugin documentation

Hi guys,
I've seen some posts recently about the CAR maven plugin and it seems like it would be really useful for my project's deployment needs.  Is there anywhere I can go to better understand what it does and how to use it (goals, etc)?  Google has failed me miserably! :)
