I think this is a bug in the build because of the removal of geronimo-
j2ee_1.4_spec module.
I filed a bug and will uploaded a patch shortly;

Seems the plugin is doing a great job printing out all its details
while tracing. Have you tried to compile the classes in question by
hand in order to get the gist of why it's actually failed?
Take a look at the attached file and at the very end of the file
you'll see the exact command you can execute to pinpoint the real
issue.
