I agree and would also suggest keeping the dojo based web app in the
separate EAR for now. Thus the dojo ear can be updated/developed on a
base DayTrader version.

I'd recommend keeping the dojo library outside the daytrader ear.
That way you'll keep your options open when migrating daytrader to
Geronimo 1.2 which already has dojo deployed at the context "/dojo".
