No message in portal and hugh stacktrace in console, if web console deployment
fails

In case for some reason the deployment with web console fails, the server
console is filled with hugh stacktrace, but user deploying the application is
given no staus update on failure or success. Just the blank deploy page.
This sounds wrong for two reasons :
1. User should be updated with a failure update, reason and what to do?
2. Instead of server console, use logs. i.e. instead of system.out.println or
printstacktrace is log files.
