Ya, I label most bits with "HACK:" though maybe I did not adorn those
module local repo configurations with them... they should have em
though, as they defs fit into that category.

And that's the problem with hacks. Sometimes hacks are necessary
(or not?), but if they are not clearly identified as such, they
tend to propagate through out the code base.
