Looks to me like you are having some related environmental configuration issues.Short of telling you to double check your configuration, nuke your local repo and the obligatory "go by a mac" statement... not much I can do.
:-) For now I use a hacked up version of the root pom.xml which then let's me build. Thanks for the help!
