the sizes come from those in feature.xml, which are non-zero. What was your
test scenario where 0 seemed to work? Was it a local update site? I suspect
you were using a remote feature.xml that had the non-zero values set.
Ideally, we'd have a code fix as a maven plugin, so at build time, the sizes of
the things could be determined, and set as a property in the build, which would
then be set in the feature.xml.
