It's coming from WSS4J, not CXF, in: src/org/apache/ws/security/message/token/UsernameToken.java Most likely, you DON'T want to setup the WSS4JOutInterceptor on the server side to have a UserNameToken. That's not normally a usual occurrence. (why would the server be sending BACK a Username?)
