Gshell command: "geronimo/start-server -b" doesn't work
-------------------------------------------------------
Key: GERONIMO-5345
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-5345
Project: Geronimo
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Affects Versions: 2.2
Environment: windows xp; sun jdk 1.5.0_20-b02; geronimo build:
2010.05.14-13:55:33.389-0400
Reporter: Tang Yin Qi
Priority: Minor
According to the Geronimo Doc 2.2, when the Gshell comand
"geronimo/start-server -b" is run, the server instance will give up the
control of the terminal when it is started up. So that we can interact with the
server without the need of starting another Gshell.
But the result of running "geronimo/start-server -b" is of no difference with
"geronimo/start-server ", in which case we still have to open another Gshell if
we want to interact with server instance.
But the command "geronimo/start-server --background" works fine.
