Resolution: Won't Fix
After "mvn eclipse:eclipse", the project you importing is considered as a
normal java project. None of the elements in geronimo-web.xml is replaced with
real values.So it cause error when you open the file.
GEP only support valid deployment plan containing real values. That's the
reason why it works well for imported WAR.
GEP works as design for this JIRA, so won't fix it.
