This problem is solved with following changes.
1. Update maven-remote-resource plugin to version 1.1 (attached option is
supported since v1.1)
2. Set the option attached of maven-remote-resource plugin as false to disable
the automatic copy of LICENSE/NOTICE/DEPENDENCIES
3. Use <reource> element in the pom.xml of each module to copy files EXCLUDING
LICENSE/NOTICE from target/maven-shared-archive-resources directory/META-INF
