Rex Wang commented on GERONIMO-5765:
------------------------------------
The original issue reported by this jira is that if we deploy a wab, it will be
treated as a war and all the osgi manifest and web-contextpath header will be
ignored by our deployer. So I add such message. In future, I think if we deploy
a osgi bundle, it should be recognized and deployed as a real bundle(as said in
GERONIMO-5764 ). So such message won't have any meaning either in deployer or
Tomcat/JettyWebModuleBuilder. Just a workaround for M2.
> Display a warning message when web application is deployed with WAB manifest

> Now WAB has to be deployed via karaf shell like a regular bundle, so if you
> deploy it via admin console, deployer will just recognize it as java ee web
> application, not osgi WAB.
> So display a warning message to inform users.
