This behavior should be documented properly.
1. If you run this command for an embedded server, then "No credentials to save
in embedded mode" is expected
2. If you run commands as this sequence:
geronimo>deploy:connect -s remote_server -p remote_port -u system -w manager
geronimo>deploy:login
Then the remote connection credentials will be saved and a message prints out
like this:
Saved login for: deployer:geronimo:jmx://remote_ip:remote_port
