Looks like I was looking at slightly older version of the script. In revision
1101830 I committed a bunch of changes the make the script a lot more sane to
read and edit. In revision 1101834 I also renamed the gserviceReg.sh script to
'register-service' to make it more consistent with other existing scripts.
