Understood. But let's please make this explicit. There's been movement towards a 3.0.1 release, but I don't think anyone's formally volunteered to be RC or identify a general target for the release. If we decide whether or not to upgrade dependencies, that's all fine. Would like to see some analysis/discussion of this… --kevan
