Richard Zowalla commented on GERONIMO-6793:
-------------------------------------------

[~romain.manni-bucau] I get the point :)

I have added a *diff* based on the current trunk to allow custom ciphers +
documentation as discussed (defaults to supported cipher list if no property is
set).

If the repository is migrated to GitHub, I can also create a related pull
request (instead of the SVN diff).
There is some overlap towards GERONIMO-6792, so we can reduce some code
duplication in parsing the whitespace sepearated list of ciphers / protocols
once GERONIMO-6792 is integrated.

> Check and discuss, if it is a good idea to enable all cyphers in TLS/SSL
> protocol handling in MailConnection.java
> Some cyphers are deprecated for good reasons and shouldn't be used.
> This enhancement might possibily include
> * Allow users to specifiy cyphers via properties (custom factory is already
> possible)
> * If we have no user defined cyphers available, fallback to the JVMs default
> cyphers.
