have you checked the xml file settings in your pseudo setup there's a good blog
post i've used to get them up and running several times, looking back now its a
bit basic but its a good checklist, still worked the last couple times I had to
install 0.20.xxx or so Hadoop versions on one machine. Its been a while since I
set one of these up, might be outdated/wrong by now.
