Avery, do you plan to include YARN implementation in this upcoming release?
Also, when do you plan to cut a branch for the release so I can pull it into
Bigtop and run a bunch of integration tests with Hadoop 2.0.4
And finally, speaking of Hadoop 2.0.4 -- we expect it to be released within a
week or so (it is currently undergoing integration testing in Bigtop). The
whole goal of Bigtop helping to RM 2.0.4 is to produce a stable Hadoop 2.X
experience that all the downstream projects can depend on. We're pretty close
to making it happen and the question I've got for you is -- would you consider
bumping your dependency to 2.0.4 for this upcoming release? (FWIW: your current
one is actually less stable in certain areas compared to 2.0.3.)
