Ted Malaska commented on GIRAPH-780:
------------------------------------

Cloned the code and built the code in Eclipse. So making great progress.

I also reviewed a couple other example implementation in hopes to implement the
new ones in a similar still. What I found is they only get executed by test
classes. (Let me know if I'm wrong)

If I'm right I'm thinking of a follow on Jira to make these examples executable
from a simple cmd line interface. Plus give the user the option to generate
input data for the different test.

> I'm new to Giraph and one of the things that would have been helpful would
> had been more examples.
> Does anyone mind if I add an example for KMeans and Tree Building?
> My first draft of these implementation are as follows:
> 1. https://github.com/tmalaska/Giraph.KMeans.Example
> 2. https://github.com/tmalaska/Giraph.TreeRooter.Example
> If Giraph is interested I will make a patch that includes:
> 1. Full implemented and commented examples
> 2. Sample data
> 3. Documentation
