Committed @ revision 1239588.
There is a problem with the CHANGES.txt file which I would like to resolve, but
I still need to sort out our dist area and ensure that the mirriors are
configured properly with minotaur. I'll not be ablet o do this until tomorrow
though... hopefully.
Please review the changes to date and pull me up if there is anything that
still needs sorted out.
