Currently we have an issue GORA-77 open regarding adopting log4j over commons
logging. However we also maintain numerous logging dependencies in parent
pom.xml, namely
- slf4j-api
- slf4j-simple
- slf4j-jdk14
It also appears that we have a property for commons-logging version 1.1.1 but
no dependency within the parent pom.xml
